As homeopathic medicines the following are possible:

  • Arsenicum album (arsenic trioxide)
  • Bryonia (bryony)
  • Okoubaka (bark of the African tree)
  • Nux Vomica (Nux vomica)
  • Pulsatilla (pasque flower)
  • Carbo vegetabilis

Arsenicum album (arsenic trioxide)

Arsenicum album (arsenic trioxide) is used for:

  • Meat or Fish poisoning after eating spoiled food.
  • Restlessness, fear, Vomit and diarrhea at the same time.

Arsenicum album D 6 5 drops every hour until improvement.

Important NOTE

If the symptoms are severe and persistent, there is one homeopathic self-treatment is not indicated. Caution especially with children and older, debilitated people. Danger of dehydration!

Bryonia (bryony)

Bryonia (bryony) can be taken with the following symptoms and complaints:

  • Stomach discomfort after excessive meals.
  • Severe abdominal pain of a stabbing character.
  • The patient vomits everything again immediately.
  • Very thirsty and would like to drink large amounts of cold water.
  • Exercise aggravated, lie still, and warmth improve.

Okoubaka (bark of the African tree)

Okoubaka (bark of the African tree) can be taken with the following symptoms and complaints:

  • For food poisoning which is not as acute as for Arsenicum.
  • Well suited to support and recover the digestive organs after a gastrointestinal infection.
  • Okoubaka is in the homeopathy also used as a detox agent.

  • Stomach discomfort after overeating, drinking and staying overnight. "Hangover agent"

Pulsatilla (pasque flower)

Pulsatilla (pasque flower) can be taken with the following symptoms and complaints:

  • Stomach pain, colicky pain, gas, belching, bad taste and dry mouth with no thirst.
  • Rest worsens, fresh air improves.
