Dear visitor,
I would like to introduce myself to you in a few sentences.
Born on November 9th, 1972 I started school in the Bad Zwesten elementary school in the summer of 1979. In 1983 he switched to the high school of the youth village Christophorusschule in Oberurff. In the summer of 1992 I completed mine there Matriculation examination (High School). In the same year I began studying human medicine in Marburg. After passing the physics course in 1994, I first did my community service in the neurological acute clinic in Bad Zwesten, before I was able to continue studying medicine in 1996. Back in Marburg, the first (1997) and second state examination (1999) followed. On June 8th, 2001 I finished my medical studies with the Medical examination certificate from.
As was customary at the time, his medical career began in June 2001 with the activity as Internship doctor (AiP provisional authorization to practice the medical profession). I spent my time as an AiP in the Aukamm Clinic Wiesbaden, a purely orthopedic clinic with a focus on Endoprosthetics (V.a. Knee prosthesis and Hip prosthesis), Foot surgery (e.g. hallux valgus and Hallux rigidus), Rheumatism surgery and sports orthopedics (e.g. Cruciate ligament replacement, Meniscal surgery, Shoulder surgery).
In June 2002 I did my doctorate in human medicine (Dr. med.). I learned during my time at the Aukamm Clinic Dr. Nicolas Gumpert know. During our time together in Wiesbaden, we realized that almost all patients had a blatant lack of knowledge about their own illness. This was a common incentive for us in 2003 the homepage of Dr. Nicolas Gumpert () to further expand and professionalize (see also Company history).
After the end of the AiP period, I received the approbation as Doctor (Authorization to practice the medical profession) granted.
In the summer of 2003 I moved to Frankfurt Professional association accident clinic, where I stayed until the end of 2004 and was able to gain a lot of experience in the field of trauma surgery (e.g. treatment of Outer ankle fracture, Femoral neck fracture, Broken wrist and much more).
Since January 1st, 2005 I have been working as an assistant doctor in the Orthopedic Clinic Kassel (OKK) under the direction of Professor Werner Siebert. The Orthopedic Clinic Kassel is one of the largest and most innovative orthopedic clinics in Germany. After initially doing my advanced training in the field Sports medicine and sports orthopedics intensified, I was an assistant in the for a long time Spinal surgery (disc prolapse, Intervertebral disc prosthesis, Stiffening operations and much more), where I also focus on infiltration techniques Pain therapy at Back pain learned (CT-guided nerve root blocks, CT-guided joint sclerotherapy, Epidural and Sacral Infiltrations in the area of the spinal cord of the lumbar and cervical spine). Since the beginning of 2007 I have mainly worked in the Pediatric orthopedics (e.g. clubfoot treatment, leg axis compensation for bow and knot legs and much more) and in the area of special pain therapy (Multimodal pain therapy, drug pain therapy, special infiltration therapy and much more).
Since March 5th, 2008 I am Specialist in Orthopaedics.
