Who am I?
My name is dr. Nicolas Gumpert. I am a specialist in orthopedics and the founder of .
Various television programs and print media report regularly about my work. On HR television you can see me every 6 weeks live on "Hallo Hessen".
But now enough is indicated ;-)

In order to be able to treat successfully in orthopedics, a thorough examination, diagnosis and a medical history are required.
In our very economic world in particular, there is too little time to thoroughly grasp the complex diseases of orthopedics and thus initiate targeted treatment.
I don't want to join the ranks of "quick knife pullers".
The aim of any treatment is treatment without surgery.

Why was founded?

Dr. As a "young assistant", Nicolas Gumpert quickly realized that the time for adequate clarification, e.g. before an orthopedic operation was far too short to adequately answer all questions and risks, since a working day should not have more than 12 working hours.
In autumn 2002 he took the trouble to simply "write down" the five most important e-diseases that are operated on in an orthopedic clinic and collect all the important information for the medical layperson.
The first five illnesses that went online at the time:

• disc prolapse
• Meniscal tear
• hallux valgus
• Impingement Syndrome
• Hip osteoarthritis

was born ;-)
Due to the relatively quick success with the readership, Dr. Nicolas Gumpert publishes more and more topics and works with his then medical assistant colleague Dr. Marc Jungermann founded the health publisher "OPIS" - online patient information service (who came up with this long name ;-))
About OPIS, Dr. Jungermann and published over 25 titles on various orthopedic diseases.

makes more than 12 television programs every year and gives more than 25 interviews on the various orthopedic disease areas on the radio or in print media.
