The various other effects of glucocorticoids, which relate to all metabolic pathways in the body, can be neglected here, as Nasonex® only local is used and therefore cannot show any effects in the rest of the organism. Although it is absorbed through the mucous membranes, it is immediately broken down in the blood.
The effect of Nasonex® is mediated via the glucocorticoid receptor, whereupon a variety of reaction sequences are set in motion. On the one hand, there are the decreased education from inflammatory messengers like prostaglandins and histamine, which plays a central role in the allergic reaction, on the other hand increase on anti-inflammatory Fabrics.
The local application of Nasonex® allows targeted at the desired locations, e.g. in the nose hay feverto work and relieve symptoms such as itching, runny or blocked nose, persistent sneezing and general inflammation of the mucous membranes.
